Our ministry is wide-ranging and deeply rooted in our faith in the Triune God. Begun in 1895 as a Swedish-language Baptist congregation, we have a long and rich tradition emphasizing solid evangelical commitment combined with cultural openness.
The current focus has been on allowing God to transform this loving and unified church into one using art and drama and other means to make many new connections with our community and world.
We consider our children as a valued, central part of our congregation, and strive to include them in all our activities. Programming especially for children includes:
- Sunday School for children of all ages
- Kidz Club for ages 6 thru 12
- Nursery care for age 4 and younger
- Children’s Church during Worship
- Annual Christmas program
EPIC Youth Ministry is our exciting and growing ministry to Junior and Senior High youth. We have a great team of dedicated adults leading. They sponsor an active schedule of events aimed at helping young people grow in their faith. Some of the key activities include:
Sunday morning Bible study
Other fun activities, such as a lock-in, parties, outreach
We also emphasize adult ministry which includes:
- Sunday morning (English and Spanish)
- weekly prayer time
- Wednesday evening prayer time
